Prcanj is an historic fishing village with many stone houses, small jetties, and fantastic views. It was home to former great sea voyagers. It has local shops, post office, grocery, bars and restaurants. It is just 4kms from Kotor by regular bus service. There is good bathing from the many small beaches and public jetties all along the shore. The water is almost always calm, crystal clear, and populated by numerous small fishes. Cruise liners, square riggers and other interesting leisure craft passing by on their way to Kotor make a magnificent sight. At night, the illuminations on the ramparts of Kotor old town are amazing. |
